Dawgs - I get it. You are anti-abortion. That paragraph doesn't refute anything that I mentioned.

Great point, because no poor people have ever worked hard and become a success. However, I see your point. Kill them in the womb so they don't have a chance to do well. I'm sure given the choice you would have preferred to be killed in the womb instead of being born, right?

And yourpoint doesn't refute anything I have said. We get it. You don't like us providing arms to foreign nations because it is only a money making thing and reeks of greed.

However, you have no problem with the abortion industry making billions off murdering children, right? Just so it isn't foreign children.

Dude, people that have kids and don’t raise them is just as bad.

I don't have a huge problem with what you just said. They are just as bad. Which is why there are laws against child abuse/neglect.

I've stated more than once on this board that the best way to reduce the number of abortions is to make all forms of birth control available to everyone and make it free. But abortion is the law of the land and is legal (in some form). I don't think it will ever be overturned, because the majority of American don't want it overturned. Your saying that its murder doesn't make it murder. The law disagrees with you.

Bottom line is that it is not an easily reconcilable problem. If it is such a horror, the each individual will have to deal with it. There is no consensus in this country to punish or to make it a crime.

Out of curiosity...why do you think people have abortions?

It is free. You can get free contraceptives at the same Planned Parenthood facilities they go for an abortion.
Besides, a condom cost about .05 cents.

E-bay 50 Condoms $9.50-about a nickle a piece

So personally, I feel my wife & I should always have options in the event that we find out that the embryo we created is going to have severe mental handicaps. I would refuse to have children if that option is not on the table.

Question, how do anti-choice people feel about Plan B?

I never said it was murder. I do say that you are killing an unborn child, though. I hate the arugment you just made, too. I mean, if the Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade you (or at least many people) would say it is unjust and unfair, just like we are saying since it is the "law of the land".

Yeah. About that. My son and his wife was told their child would/might have sever handicaps. They chose to have the baby anyway. healthy little baby boy. Those tests are not definitive. Very few abortions are carried out for that reason, though. Most are for convenience.

I would encourage you not to have children then. What are you going to do if you are in a car wreck and that bay suffers head injuries that result in brain damage? or the child is born with Downs Syndrome. if you want guarantees of a happy perfect child, you are in for a rude awakening. Nothing personal...just stating the facts.

My apologies. I usually don't use that terminology, although, it is difficult for me to argue against it.

It’s because they worship sex and Moloch. They don’t realize that, of course.

Honest question. If the baby has a heart beat, eyes, brain activity...would you consider it a baby? And if you do, would you consider it murder to kill it?

Like I said, the "my body, my right" argument is crap. Why don't we allow 3rd trimester/late term abortions?

Current law states that a woman’s right to get an abortion ends when the fetus becomes able to live outside the womb. Which is around 23 to 24 weeks.

That will continue to drop as medical science progresses.
