I don't think this is the case at all. IMO most if not all of these tech companies have DEI hiring practices. The companies need a lot of electronic/computer engineers and because of DEI hiring practices most white male electronic/computer engineers are looked over by these tech companies. This demographic is then picked up by the consulting industry. The DEI hires at these big tech companies become project managers and hire the consultants and end up paying double and triple of what they would have paid if they would have just hired the white dudes to begin with.

A big reason they need a lot of ECEs is because DEI has forced them into hiring mushbrains with the right body parts and skin color.
When you have L3 engineers who can't do simple tasks because they fundamentally don't understand how computer languages work you need another developer to do his task.
There is at least one HBCU which produces people with a master in Computer Science who have never taken a single computer Language course.
They take people with any BS degree, and then allow them to take classes in Network Security to complete the Masters.
That's the level of demand for any kind of minority/female tech. (Indians and Chinese don't count)

India does not have a moral code/compass that anybody on this board could explain. Therefore any thing goes with regards to ethics. Every individual knows that lie, cheat steal are other peoples problems.

We are the wealthiest country in the world due to a multitude of features. First and foremost is the Mississippi River system. The United States has more miles of navigable inland waterways than the rest of the planet COMBINED. Cheap internal transport generates capital. We also have barrier islands and more port potential than the entirety of Europe. Then, we also have the best piece of agricultural land in the world in the Midwest. As if those two weren't enough, that internal transport system overlays the farmland almost perfectly. Then, we're protected from military invasion from the south by the Sonoran and Chihuahuan Deserts......not that Mexico's geography would ever allow them to generate the capital to build a military to challenge us anyway. Our coasts are protected by massive ocean moats, making amphibious invasion impossible. Finally, we are the largest energy producer in the world, partially due to the oil actually being here, and partially due to the fact that our geography generates so much capital through commerce that we can afford to explore it. The fact is, we can't help but be rich.
India doesn't have these features.

I had 2 Indian brothers that were programmers work for me once. I’ll never hire another one directly. They completed about 75% of tge project and threatened to walk out if they didn’t get a raise immediately. I asked for their resignation letters. They tried to backtrack and say they were sorry. I had all their access locked out while we had our final meeting and told them to politely get the frick out.

It's a numbers game. There are a lot of Indians. Most aren't anyone special but because of pure numbers their top 1 percent is a large crowd.

Right, but poor geography is why Germany and Japan had to strike out and try to build empires. Their local geographies lacked the resources and markets that they needed. Same with Great Britain, Spain, and Portugal. Without the resources and markets of their far-flung empires, they dwindled to nothing.

I work and have worked with many Indian subcontractors of the most renowned EPC's in the world for the past 20-25 years.
I have found 3-5% to be competent and another 5% to be capable. The majority are worthless and arrogant fvckers on top of that.
Revision after revision after revision until we wind up back where we started. Many projects where the domestic crew has to fix all the shite of the Indian subs.
Not fond of them.
