The problem really starts in two places at the top you have American college kid demanding 100k out of school which is insane, then from the bottom you have Indian here willing to work that job for 40k and then you go to India and you can get 5 Indians or more for 40k of salary.

All for a job that might be 75k without experience.

American refuses to take 60k or whatever is offered, then gets labeled lazy.

Company hires 5 Indians overseas and pays someone here to manage them.

The consumer gets fricked because product is low quality.

It’s a two pronged problem, college has told too many kids they are worth more than they really are and then the 3rd world can depress wages.

It’s unrealistic to tell the American take the 40k job is too low. I’ve seen people be like work for free to get on show then you are valuable and I think that is dumb and insulting. The same person saying that would not do that.

You stop the 3rd world depressing of wages and the wages become ones that people can at least accept.

My own issue with the depression of wages by the third world is 1 selfish as they can then depress all wage brackets much easier so that messes up my goals. 2 the unselfish side is we are killing our own damn industries chasing cheap labor instead of growing good internal talent. It was always a bullshite response of well this will allow us to move the young talent up, which is stupid because you are taking away the things that make your talent better to send over sees and it hurts the quality which erodes client trust. We see it happen with 3rd world workers with the Indians being the face and it’s also happening every time we let private equity into a industry they fricking destroy it with the same bullshite.

Or it’s a microcosm of some people living in theory land, some people that have been in the belly of the beast, and others that have been there but find a different outcome because it benefits them in some way.

We have destroyed ourselves on many fronts, we don’t manufacture key things like we use to and we saw the covid problem happen. We have destroyed our education system and we have bought and paid for politicians rather it be China or Israel.
