I worked with an Indian, several years ago. I asked him that question.
His Answer. The Indians who come to America are in the top 10% in the country. They come with a Sponsor. The sponsor is not going to bring in a lazy A-hole.

This country has never taken in immigrants that would culturally enrich. Ultimately the second generation melts into the dominate culture.

I ran an engineering company for years, and I promise you we do not have enough American engineers. They're just not enough Americans who are willing to do the hard work to get through engineering school.

because we get all the good ones. There's over a billion of them and the British taught them English and to value education. So out of a billion there's like 10s of millions of highly educated Indians over there who want to come here and make bank.

I think that's the biggest factor, because there's no intelligence advantage.
The self hate a taught behavior though. It comes from Hollywood, schools, and the media generally.

I hired the best I could get. Some of them were foreigners. Most were Americans. I wasn't going to hire unimpressive, stupid Americans over qualified foreigners. We valued merit, and that is what we made our decisions on. I'm proud of it.

True capitalists and "small government republicans" believe in meritocracy, as long as that meritocracy means "native born white people"

American doesn't denote any race. Intellectually honest people understand that. We even have terms for our racial diversity that predate PC culture by decades (the melting pot and so forth).

As a mutt who is primarily Cajun and Italian (with a sprinkling of Portuguese-Caribbean), this is hilarious. The same shite was said about my people not that long ago. Now we're seen as white by people like you. Funny how that works.
