They may have. We don’t know.

The likely answer is politics. You see the shite storm that ensued by asking Zelensky to look into it, could you imagine if Trump sicked Barr on them? Investigating a political adversary is only ok when democrats do it.

the Trump DoJ conducted a quiet investigation and found no illegal, activity, do you think they would publish that information?

Or if it was still ongoing.

Not all but much of it. There are very few good people in DC politics. That is unless you consider the new wave of socialists good people which may be the case since you are a prog.

Do you disagree?

Why has Trump’s DOJ not opened an investigation into the Bidens if there’s allegedly such a high amount of suspicion? Why is Trump trying to recklessly back-door investigations in a manner that exposes him to impeachment

This is not true. Trump did not do anything that exposed him to impeachment. Dems just played you and others for the fool again. Useful idiot.

I would guess because the DOJ can only ask the other involved nation (Ukraine) for the investigation which the President did and we all see what happened.

and if everyone up there is corrupt, how do you break the ice without dumping everyone into the fire at one-time and creating a "revenge on political enemies" narrative?

Holy shite! How did it take this long for the correct answer to be said. This is why these assholes do all this in foreign countries that are corrupt and dependent of U.S. aid dollars. It serves as a barrier to the information needed to prosecute.

Your bitchass of a party is impeaching him for wanting Ukraine to investigate and you're asking why he hasn't asked the DOJ to investigate?

What's higher than impeachment? Jail? Death?

Because if a serious investigation is ever opened on Ukraine, half of DC will go down.

I started a thread about this yesterday cause I think the Democrats could have hammered this point home. I believe I know the answers.

According to Rudy G: attempts to get evidence from Ukraine to the Trump admin were being stonewalled by Obama holdovers within the admin.
Trump was having trouble getting evidence to begin an investigation so during the phone call he asked Zelensky to get to the bottom of it.
Timeline wise here is a critical point. The trump team did not start clamouring about Biden corruption. The Democrats brought forth their whistleblower which brought this information to light and began the impeachment process. It would be bad optics to begin a probe while being impeached so they are patiently waiting for this to be wrapped up while also letting it dangle in the public’s eye while the trial carries on.

Have you had any interaction with DC politicos and bureaucrats?

There is a filtering process that takes place in hiring and promotion which measures people by their perceived compliance to certain principles, or should I say, lack of principles.

It happens at conferences, trainings, social events and seminars. The “in-crowd” uses a special DC jargon that measures your ability to subsume logic with adherence to preferred policy.

It’s anti-capitalistic, pro-Democratic, woke, pro-globalist, etc., but it’s really not specifically about supporting a specific platform of policies and beliefs. At this point in time, it’s about an individual’s willingness to parrot the talking points of the in-crowd, which very well may change rather suddenly as befits the in-crowd.

It’s the same thing that has happened to the MSM. Honest journalism is dead and so is honest government, the higher up you go.

Anyone who even asks clarifying questions or proposes alternatives to the narrative, much less take an opposing view, are essentially black balled from promotion to DC leadership positions.

It’s a phenomenon that’s hard to believe, especially if you’re a hard truth type of person. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it time and again in my previous job.

because there is no evidence to investigate. That's the whole reason trump withheld funds in the first place. In hopes another country could dig up evidence because none existed.

You mean...except for THIS Biden Video , right? No evidence except for that...surely. Curious--->wonder if who they put in place of the fired prosecutor--someone "solid" per Biden....did that prosecutor pursue Burisma? Cause EVERY dem witness testified in the impeachment trial that Burisma was well known for corruption. Did the new "solid" prosecutor investigate them and who has been charged, etc?

bc investigating Biden would open up 100's or 1000's of other corrupt people.
