Why don't we give Taiwan a few Nukes

A'la North Korea.
Give China something to think about. Use our imagination, do it secretly via the CIA and pretend they developed their own. WTF can they do about it if we do. They can't attack Taiwan, they really can't attack us. All they can do is stop selling to us, and yes, that would hurt - but hurt them more than us.
I say yes. Give Taiwan about 20 land based nukes (multiple warhead of course) and a couple of our older nuclear subs. That should end the debate about their independence. Seriously - it's a true trump card. Where did I go wrong?

Because too many members of congress both R & D have gotten filthy rich from the Chinese government. I have no idea how so many people are completely oblivious to this

Plus if just one of those goes pow....it will be super easy to know where it came from, What plant created the fissile material and damn near on what day it was made.
There is no hiding the isotopes and it's properties ever. Hell we even have the tech to tell where each nuke is in it's silo and where it was made from.

I’m willing to bet that we have under the table even if we did it during the 50s. I mean Nixon once ordered a nuclear strike on North Korea while completely shitfaced, and Kissinger (the only good thing he’s done in his life) refused to obey and let Nixon sleep it off. I’m supposed to believe they didn’t ship them a few nuclear missiles during that time? Yeah between Truman and Nixon, someone shipped them some nukes.

The point is. That ain't enough to kill the dragon. Then the dragon is going to have clear proof to show the whole world where it came from. Then Congrats you just nuked the entire US because you stuck our nose where it doesn't belong.

I agree but his scenario wont come close to putting them there. China is massive and you would need MANY MIRV based ICBMs along with subs that are all geared for MIRV. Problem is we have weakened our stance to hell and back that to the fricking count that his Killary and her START Program.

The biggest problem with this is that if China ever found out that we gave nukes to Taiwan that would pretty much trigger WW3. China gets pissed if we even discuss selling them basic military equipment. They pretty much threaten war if we even officially acknowledge Taiwan as a country. So yeah if we gave them nukes that would start something if it was ever discovered. And it would be discovered. The Chinese would know we did it 5 minutes after it happened. Considering that nuclear materials can be traced all the way back to what reactors it came from then all they would need to do it get a sample and test it and they would know. Besides you are talking about using these nukes as a deterrent to keep China from attacking Taiwan. So you would not give Taiwan nukes in secret. The only way to keep China honest is to let them and the whole world know that Taiwan has nukes so you would not do that in secret you would advertise the fact that Taiwan has them.

I have been saying this for years.
Hopefully, they already have some and China knows or suspects they do. That is the only thing that would stop China from being able to attack and invade that independent, sovereign nation.

Israel has had nukes for 30 years. That is the ONLY reason their neighbors have been held in check. Yeah, they keep using small proxy terrorist groups to poke them, but no big national attacks against them.
That BLM idiot Sullivan's adopted father got in trouble when he was a general in the Army for trying to get nuclear triggers to Taiwan. I suspect they have a few bombs and hopefully CCP leadership knows and will leave them alone.
