Pick your battles. Sometimes responding to the ridiculousness breaths life into the argument and legitimizes the argument. Best to say nothing right now. It's not getting massive coverage.

the problem is that they never actually pick any battles. I used to think like you - be above the mudslinging. i no longer think like that. this shite needs to be aggressively countered every single time by every single person it affects. every Republican in congress needs to reply to this kind of shite with the same fervor and vigor and anger that Trump does.

No argument from me... However, they are not interested in representing you or me... They are interested in enriching themselves...

Because people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...especially when their house is full of garbage and on fire.

They don't have the high ground in this fight.

"A threat to democracy" is so overused by the Dems that it's meaningless. It essentially means "A republican." I've long asserted here that Dems keep using phrases that were old when I was in college. They're just too stupid to think of original descriptions.

It's just like leftist chants at protests:
"Hey hey, Ho, Ho, (subject) Has to Go!"
They've been using that since the mid 1960s.

I think in reality, they just suck at battling and marketing the position. Democrats have the media at their backs. They don't need to market well. Republicans need to learn to market better. A lot better.
