He did cut funding but there was also a philosophy change for the better at that time as well. He started to switch from engineering, owning and launching rockets to buying rides from commercial partners. It’s one of the main reasons we seeing private space companies innovating and drive the cost down for access to space.
If we could get rid of Richard Shelby, maybe they could finally cut the giant waste of money jobs program that is SLS.
