tax cuts are not polling particularly well. They are pushing us into massive deficits.

It is a good strategy, and actually gives candidates like McCaskill a way to oppose the dems and look like she stands on her own.

So what do Dems have..... Let's see.. raising taxes, repealing the second amendment, opening the borders for the caravan, and a whole lot of screeching/hatred.

Keep going, I won't interrupt while you fail even harder lefties.

They want to repeal it before the tax filing next year shows everyone how much less the have paid in taxes.

once they see the changes, it will be harder for them to sell the "tax cuts for rich"

I'd like to see what is being cited as evidence of this.

I'm on my wife's MacBook, which I hardly ever use, and was in a rush because the stat I called out was immediately questioned. I wanted to provide the data as quickly as possible and obviously fricked up.

Not sure how that equates to being "dumb" but whatever, man.

Raising taxes is not the way to alleviate problems in a terribly constructed budget.

They won’t talk about this as the election nears, and they won’t actually repeal the tax cuts if they get the chance. It’s just to solidify their Marxist credentials so they don’t lose the Bernie Bros.

It's interesting how poll questions are framed.

It seems difficult to definitively say based on these questions/results that "tax cuts are not polling particularly well," but if democrats want to expressly run on that idea I say, knock yourselves out.

Your link show that the amount of people thinking the tax cuts are a good idea increased from 24 to 30% since December.

People thinking its a bad idea went from 38 to 36%.
A large portion is undecided.

The trend is not in your favor

The dems need things to run on. And this is one of them. I personally think this is a good idea. Trump's base isn't going to vote for them. They are trying to attract moderates / suburban voters. I feel confident that the dems have done internal polling on this, to identify which issues to push.

They also need their base to show up. And tax cuts for corporations is a good strategy.
