Remember when I pointed out how mind-numbingly stupid you are, and you cried about this board being deflating and not living up to its potential?

Second question would be how is it possible for so many people on a POLITICAL message board to have no idea what the frick fascism is.

In theory,If liberals "are communist" and "hate America," wouldn't they be automatically disqualified and kicked out of the fascist club?

Communism and Fascism are like two horns on the same totalitarian goat. But indeed, the leftists are more like Stalinists.

This description has always been key for me. While I generally do consider fascism to be "of the right" with economic elements "of the left", I do not consider it to be a "conservative" movement.

Even if they want it to fit their perfect definition it is anti conservative and anti liberal.

Which the progressives are. People have noted many a time these aren’t the same liberals. Or aren’t classic liberals.

Depends on the end goal. The Nazis hated the Commies but fought with them in WW2 for same cause. The fascist did the same.

It is not uncommon for groups to be different yet have enough similarities to side with each other in the case of self preservation.

Fascist and Commies (Democrats, Marxist) both hate America for what it is so can be bed partners for certain causes.

Fascism (/'fæ??z?m/ FASH-iz-?m) is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement,[1][2][3] characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy

Eh, we fought on the same side as the commies too, and for longer. Generally, fascists fought against communists in most cases.

2
: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control
early instances of army fascism and brutality

Sounds a lot like the police state you are worried about. It's actually happening now under the current administration. Please, tell me where socialism has ever worked, ever. I'll wait, but hint, it fails every time.

It's like you completely ignored (or are unable to comprehend) the previous posts about what distinguishes fascism from communists even though they both have leftist economic views. Again, the Jonah Goldberg argument is lame.

Not really. I get that you're just using the term as a general pejorative. It's sloppy, but whatever.

Nazis were fascists and the left is turning into nazis more and more every day.

And other than who owns the means of production, there is little difference between communism and fascism.
