I don’t get this feeling at all in the real world especially growing up in south Louisiana and now living in Florida.

There is that, too, but I think a lot of young ladies of any skin color don't want to be "too friendly" for fear of old men taking it as flirting, and in fact, I know some guys that do. They're the type that are convinced that the Hooters waitress that smiles at them digs them.

This. They grew up genuinely thinking white supremacy is rampant. Most of us are just tired of crime and general “not giving a shite” from the black community.
The younger crowd have been shielded from black on black and black on white crime. They also see the race card as an “out” for how shitty certain parts of their culture are.
I had a friend from high school, she’s black (looks Brazilian though), went back down to NOLA for a wedding and decided to catch up with her, first thing she said was “there’s too many white peoplr here” at the bar we went to. She was never like that. She was way more popular than I ever was. Public messaging is to blame.

I live in greater metro Atlanta, and now that you mention it, I don't seem to see that as much when I go down to the beach, but in an area where jobs are dependant on tourists, I am pretty sure they are more likely to lost their jobs if they aren't polite.

I work and interface with blacks of all adult ages and genders and the only issue I see is that young women, regardless of race, are completely fricked in the head politically. They have no independent thought and are just spoon fed their values through social media…
Oddly enough, many of the young black men are MAGA. The older ones are true blue Dem.

I get that feeling too. I think a lot of black guys are starting to realize that liberal politics aren't totally in their best interest.

I grew up in the 80s/90s in rural Georgia. We still had a "no coloreds allowed" baseball league. I played a lot of sports with the blacks and got to be good friends with them still to this day.

I think it's more just getting out of the metro area. I'm not in a tourist area, and there's a noticeable difference in every day encounters than there is somewhere like Atlanta or Birmingham. It was the same way 30 years ago, and going to Atlanta for school was a bit of a culture shock in that regard.
