Missouri votes to expand it last night by 7 points
Oklahoma votes fo expand it as well (earlier this year)
Louisiana loves it's Medicaid and Medicare
Red states truly do like paying more taxes.

Guess people like health care during a time like this

They think it’s free and they don’t have to pay for it.

The free trend isn't going away haha.
I expect us to have Medicare for All in the next 10 yrs without that much pushback from the GOP honestly. These are super red states voting for free shite.
We wonder why we are trending left as a country.
It's almost impossible to stop once someone gets a taste of free this free that.

Because despite states going red in national elections and state wide elections, there are still Dems in every state. And let’s be honest, most old school republican politicians are social conservatives, physical opportunists.

Medicare
Maybe here's a good reason. Last month my wife's United Health 80% coverage insurance was costing $650 per month. She turns 65 this month and her 100% coverage by Medicare and a supplement is $290 a month.
Thank you Obama for making insurance very unaffordable instead of manageable.

I agree.

I think it is one issue where older conservatives, will vote along side the "free everything" folks, because health care costs really keep them concerned, and the pill pushing doctors make it worse.

It won’t be “Medicare for all” it will be Government run healthcare for all paid at Medicaid rates or worse. The word Medicare just polls well because people over 65 like their Medicare coverage and price

Free shite. Don't worry the credit market reset is going to be glorious this time which will make the 1920-1950 look like the good disco era.

The color of the state isn't who they vote for president. Look at who runs the 2 larges cities and governor of this state.
Its red for president which ain't got shite to do with local policy making.

Populism is tres chic right now, on the left and right.
Personally, I see it as a good thing, when the only other viable option is Neo-Liberal orthodoxy orchestrated by the Clintons, Bushes, and other shitheads.

That was in the last few weeks here in Oklahoma...
And I blame people not researching the state questions before voting.
90% of this state vehemently opposes the ACA, yet they voted for what is basically an expansion of Obamacare. Talked to a couple friends who voted for it, and they denied that it was what I claimed it was, so I looked it up on my phone and showed them what they voted to pass...
And they both immediately developed buyers remorse after seeing that what I said was true. Too late now.
Again, I believe that it's ignorant people not thoroughly researching the SQs.

Horse shite
like they weren't getting it anyway
Your statement contains an implied lie.
The reason they are voting this way is the moochers are a given and enough of the rest are too stupid to understand the math and feel good by volunteering others to pay for shite.

I'm in Oklahoma. I think the closing and bankruptcy of rural hospitals was a big selling point. We have several small town hospitals closing or close to it. In my business we deal with a few hospitals that are on their second post bankruptcy realignment. People don't want to drive 70 miles to OKC or Tulsa for elective surgeries or emergency room visits.

In Missouri all the rural counties voted no...STL and KC's population pushed it thru.
I guess all the STL and KC folks are happy. More free stuff.
On a good note, Gold is over $2K! Silver at $25 and my 401K is up. It's in a 2030 fund. The big fear I have it that Dems will be coming after our 401K if they get power.
