Is it because the majority vote Conservative?

So, they just decided to attack the industry and ruin them like anyone else that goes against them?

If they find a way to frick the energy industry then people will have a lot less freedom of movement and that will make them that much easier to control.

Electric cars running off of solar and wind power for EVERYBODY are 100 years away.

SO you can ride their fricking light rail (which cannot carry everybody either) while you wait.

Because the big money that is into “alternative” energy view oil as their main competition. They have Democrat politicians bought.

If they can get oil prices high they become more competitive and make more money.

I’ve wondered this as well. I assume it’s an environment thing, cause most of them are pretty into that.

without acknowledging that if the US had a cataclysmic event and stopped producing Carbon outputs overnight, global emission levels wouldn’t change by a measurable amount

We are currently energy independent and a net energy exporter.

I don't get it.

Greenpeace didn't save the whales; the oil industry did.

What’s sad is they don’t realize that Nearly everything they do and everything they touch comes from the petrochemical industry.
iPhones to soy latte containers to vinyl and plastic in their hybrid speed bump little cars. They are cutting off their nose to spite their face.
It’s laughable.
BTW, I live in Lake Charles and there is no frickn way solar and wind power could do the clean up and repairs here.

Most private equity O&G funds now have energy transition energy funds. Basically, they can’t raise fossil fuel funds because ESG and/or they lost their fricking asses over the last 6-7 years. Funds for O&G are dated and limited.

That does not have jack shite to do with democrats wanting to kill an industry that competes with their donors.

Cwill is in the industry. He knows what he’s talking about. You can take what he says to the bank.

They don’t "hate" the oil industry, they just see it as dirty and that our future energy needs can be met with both cleaner and more sustainable alternatives.

Oil is a finite substance. It will eventually run out. Is that enough detail for you..?

The dems hate everything and everyone. If you disagree with the dems they hate you. The dems do not give anyone permission to think for themselves.
Biden said, "You don't vote for me, then you ain't black."

This is what dems think. Your skin color is dependent on whether you vote for them or not. You are not allowed to choose, and all this time they have been lying about being "pro-choice".
