They usually say this about a topic when they have been silent on something for too long, get called out for it by the other side and then actually here questions about it in the media. For example, now we are hearing them say "let me be clear" about their stance against violence at "protests" when they were encouraging protests and confrontation at first. They were thinking it helped them by making Trump look bad and they didn't say anything condemning violent/destructive protests for too long and now they think it's starting to hurt their poll numbers. So now, they want "to be clear"...

I like it when Democrats pretend to be trump supporters at the beginning of their rants...and then go on to spew a shite ton of Democrat underground narratives. They want to give off the illusion that trump supporters are fed up. They believe that by pretending to be a trump supporter, that their words will carry more weight when talking with legit trump supporters.

Funny they say this, then turn around and admit to lying for debates like Kamala did(even though she really felt that way but has to say that now due to her VP candidacy...so she is lying now instead). I still can't believe that shite hasn't had more airplay or some of Biden's past lies as well...
