Carter was that bad. Inflation from hell, interest rates going the wrong way, foreign policy disasters, and a general feeling that America was going downhill

Of the 3 dem presidents in my adult lifetime carter completely reversed watergate in 4 years and the other 2 lost over 60 seats in the house after their stellar performance of their first 2 years.
