Why didn't the dems have a problem with

Don’t forget an outrageous and often times dangerous view on the constitution. No longer is it simply their “loose constructionist” talking point or view. To the point where, at every turn they take a crap on the document no matter the interpretation of the day that suits their agenda.

I'm not a big fan of Obama, or executive orders for that matter, but Obamacare, or the non-ironically named Affordable Care Act was passed by Congress and signed into law by Obama.

And the answer to your question is that leftists are hypocrites and will oppose any and everything that the Trump administration does. Actually one of Trump's superpowers is getting the Democrats to oppose things that 80% of Americans support, and defend things that 80% of Americans oppose.

In short, they don’t play by the same rules.

Whoever is calling the shots for the left doesn’t care about public opinion or legal constraints or morality. They are singularly focused on getting away with as much as they can at any given point in time. It’s like a wildfire that keeps consuming things until it’s stopped.

This has worked in the past because the left controlled all the mechanisms governing information dissemination. That's no longer the case and it's becoming clear that a lot of those mechanisms were funded by taxpayers and that funding has been cut off. It's going to be really interesting to see how the left evolves to cope with this new reality. I have no doubt that they will.

EO's were supposed to cover those times when Congress was not in session, since Congress only met a couple of months twice a year. The EO's have become so important because Congress does nothing and passes no laws.
