I think you have to question that.
As far as Trump, he's probably asking himself these same things, and coming to the same conclusion, it's political, and OMB.
Left had no concerns or interest in Epstein during Obama or Biden's tenure. and no one bitching about, questioning, or criticizing the events of the past few days said jack shite about it either.
And my guess as to why Trump wants them released now but was hesitant previously is because he saw the files as political capital and didn't want to piss it away. However, since the left wants to make it a distraction, he's said "frick it, release them".
Massie, MTG, et al are also trying to use the files as leverage. Trump correctly decided to take away their bargaining chip. This will blow up beautifully in the Lefts face while emasculating two jackasses on the right who are pulling against DJT.
The real injustice is that these files and the events they detail (redacted or not) were ever used as leverage. Should've been treated as a criminal probe since day 1.

my thoughts are it's covering for the underlying issue that Epstein worked directly with Israel. The Ehud Barak hacked emails is somehow not a story running non stop on the MSM. The real Epstein story is he was a power player for billionaires for 30yrs and wielded influence all over the world. The elite knew what he did and didn't care. Trump new and only cared after it was evident it was going to hurt him down the line running for president.

This was for the original petition. If her name was removed, it wouldn’t have had the necessary signatures to move to a vote.
