Not what I asked. All things being equal, if she had been a man, would she have been elected?

No she wouldn't-- read the article I link above-- very interesting.

No way. The fact that she has a Vagina was the main reason why she is considered to be "special" by some fools. If HRC were a white man, she would have been prosecuted for her mishandling of classified information.

There was misogynistic vitrol thrown at her during the entire campaign, especially near the end.

I mean, I'm sure there are a non-negligible number of French voters that dislike Le Pen at least partly because she's a woman. But she's going to lose by significantly more than that.

Your question is based on the premise that a white male would come anywhere close to winning the Democratic nomination

I'm talking about the general election - straight up. If Hillary was a white man with her same baggage would she have won against Trump, who got the white male vote in the swing states.?

Do you think Obama would have been elected if he were a white man?

Well, first of all Obama's win wasn't as close. But him being black brought out a huge black vote.

Based on his margin of victory, I say yes. Don't forget how unpopular Bush was at the end. But it would have been close IMO.

What if Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton switched genders?

I have seen that article before. Reviews of the article surmised that part of the female Trump victory, was based on the positive and forceful actor that played Trump in drag (sorry, couldn't resist), and that mamma's boy guy who played Hillary the man.

My question is just based on Clinton being a white man. I think that would have made the difference in the swing states he needed to carry to win.

Yea. Yea. Yea. You can't give a reasoned answer to my question, so you give a cutesy airhead response. You're just about useless.

He still would have lost. You are completely leaving out the white guilt vote that would not exist for a white man.

No. She wouldn't have edged out Bernie for one. She also wouldn't have been able to appeal to women with her baggage. For better or worse (really worse) women are much more reactive to gotcha reporting and attacks. Think of the children!

Hillary was given a pass BECAUSE she was a women. None of that shot flies if she's your run of the mill white male candidate.

I've seen articles on the French election where Macron blames Russians for helping LePen and vice versa. Russia is the new, international leftist sock fairy.

Who says it didnt?

When you see usa polls saying 10% of americans will not vote for a jew for prez maybe sanders lost the southern tuesday because of that.

When you see polls saying xx % will not vote women prez, its clear gender was the edge.

What about the polls that said Donald had 0% chance???

Man, you people have gone so far into the Looney bin with this ridiculous identity crap. Y'all can't even see the world without filtering through this propaganda.

Why didn't Bernie beat Hillary? Wasn't he a white dude?

Jesus Christ you are like a doll my daughter had when she was a baby.

Pull the string, ask the same fricking question over and over.

Why would it?

It's LePen vs. Merkel.

The role it played was a lot of women only voted for Hillary because she was a woman.

I asked the question over again because the posters responded without answering the question I asked (I'm surprised with your keen sense of the obvious you didn't get that).

But thanks for that touching story about your daughter's doll, airhead.
