What is the mechanism of acetaminophen that causes autism in some babies?
It thins the membrane covering the brain. I have read that the issue is Tylenol taken in conjunction with vaccines. The heavy metals in the vaccines combined with the above action causes damage to the brain allowing basically an overload of all stimuli. I’m no brain surgeon, that’s just what I’ve heard alleged.

Truth is that people are super quick to use pain relievers in general. No need to give pain reliever for low grade fevers yet people start giving ibuprofen and Tylenol as soon as fever starts.
Reality: people are super quick to use drugs in general, whether over the counter or prescribed. People go to see a doctor expecting to walk away with a prescription for the symptom bothering them, rather than looking for and solving the root cause of the symptom via diet and exercise. Or, they just roam through Walgreens looking for the magic pill.
Doctors are conditioned to hand out prescriptions because people expect to get that easy fix, and because the more prescriptions they hand out, the more days the drug companies pay for their trip to Hawaii.

When it’s taken by people who make autistic babies

So maybe instead of thinking “Tylenol”, maybe look at the other broader studies that show it’s the actual fever and Tylenol is just the medicine that was used to try and bring that down
If we have women shy away now from taking Tylenol during pregnancy for actual fevers we likely , according to most studies, will see an INCREASE in autism

Whenever anyone complains of headaches, I tell them to try a bit of caffeine first. There's a reason Excedrin includes caffeine, and everyone just ignores the completely benign fixes.

I take way too much ibuprofen. I’m thinking about just switching to not being a huge pussy.
Me, too. I take so much it bothers my stomach so I take (took) a shite ton of tylenol too. I'm roughly 50 and a former Eventing/ Versatility rider that's been in a few serious accidents (horses and cars). I used to take 2 ginormous arthritis strength tylenol morning and evening for years since it didn't bother my stomach like NSAIDs. I quit tylenol last night. I don't have anything specific that could get me an arthritis script, just lots of joint aches and pains.
Time to woman up and pull up my big girl drawers and deal with it. The good news is if it makes me bitchy no one will think anything is out of the ordinary.

At certain stages of fetal development, ibuprofen can impact fetal circulation in a way that would be harmful.
