Okay. FWIW, I have no issue with same sex marriage. I do have an issue with tacit forced approval through Pride month. In short, despite my views, I am viewed as homophobic or transphobic if I don't wish to condone and support these parades. It is like Kramer and the red ribbon episode of Seinfeld, only played out through the MSM and social media.
It is tantamount to me being called Islamaphobic for not wanting to "support" a parade of burka wearing Muslims supporting Sharia law. I have no issue with you supporting portions of Sharia law (provided it is subjected to US law) and your faith.
My question to you: if such a parade existed, would you approve of little girls "volunteering" (according to their parents) to wear a burka? How about be beaten sith a stick along the parade route for showing too much ankle...in order to show subservience?
A child, legally does not have the ability to give informed consent...PERIOD.
Shouldn't that apply to these circumstances.
I mean, a family that named their child Adolf Hitler had the child was removed from their home by Child Protective Services because of bullying concerns at school. Should not that same degree of concern apply here?
Lastly, as a means of responding to the OP, based on the data provided, a modicum of concern should at least be present. Unfortunately, due to fears of being labled homophobic or transphobic, that doesn't seem to be the case.
To me, grown (gay) men throwing money at a "supposedly" transgender child is a behavior that can not be defended under any circumstances imho.
PERIOD.
