The Russian government had helped finance the building of churches across Russia. There’s a strong and consistent backing for the ROC, both at a regional and federal level.

I’m not rooting for Putin, but I think they’re about to expose how weak this Biden administration is. All we heard the last 4 years, was how Trump wasn’t tough enough on Russia, and how democrats would be a whole lot tougher on Russia, than Trump was. In the lefts mind, Trump and Putin are buddies and are working together, to destroy democracy in America. Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me but that’s a discussion for another day.

The Russia/Ukraine situation actually got better with Trump in office, and Trump striking Syria to send a message to Russia and Syria is another example of how Trump was actually tough on Russia. Trump was also very tough on Iran, and wasn’t going to give them loopholes to get help from Russia to expand their nuclear program. Now that Biden is in office, Israel will have to deal with Iran themselves. He wasn’t going to let Putin or any country walk all over us like what happened under Obama and now with Biden. Russia isn’t really a threat to us, at least not at this moment, but there’s one country who is paying a close eye to the US’s response in Ukraine, and that’s China, and that is ours and the worlds biggest threat. China is the new USSR, and Russia is just a country that we’ve had a bad recent history with, but this isn’t the same Russia that we saw during the Cold War.

Now it does seem like a lot of people on here are rooting for Russia and Putin, which I don’t understand, but the message above is what I think. frick Putin, frick China, frick Iran, and frick Democrats.

Russia is a multiethnic multi religious state that resembles a 19th century empire. Respect for ethnic and religious minorities is the cornerstone of the states stability. And Russia relies on the religious authorities to help keep the peace.

At the same time, it is understood that Russia is a Russian state, and a Christian state, first and foremost.

The dim party and the leftists love to blame Russia for any perceived or made up corruption, while not saying a word opposing China, Iran, etc. Did the covid virus come from Russia? The dim party and the leftists appear to unjustifiably hate Russia while supporting and kowtowing to China. What does that tell you?

Why does Russia have to be our enemy? It isn’t communist anymore. We don’t have to be best buddies and allies but to be enemies is dangerous to both countries and harmful to the cause of world peace.

Anyone insisting that Russia be our enemy, is a domestic enemy himself.

They don't, and its infuriating that our foreign policy for the last 30 years treats Russia as an inherent enemy. That is not the case. Russia is the only major European nation we haven't fought a war against, and generally speaking our interests and their do not conflict or overlap----except to the extent that we want them to. (i.e, meddling in their politics and trying to strong arm central european countries into rejecting Russian O&G)

Even being a NATO member does not preclude a good relationship with Russia. Most of the other NATO members get along with Moscow just fine. The Russians do not trust us specifically, and think we are constantly attempting to undermine their interests---which we are.

Putin reminds me of Bobby Knight. On journalists: 'Most of us learn to read and write by second grade. Then we move on to more serious business.'

So after years of liberals screaming Russia Russia Russia it’s now “rooting for Russia” to point out that Putin is making Beijing Joe his bitotch?

You want to see rooting for go look at how the left rooted on the CCP virus, or a recession. Liberals actively rooted against the US all four years of Trump’s presidency.

I'm going to pull for russia because it pisses off the left. I don't need much more of a reason. If the left and progressives promote it, I'm against it.

I don't give a shite about ukraine.

I don't give a shite about syria.

I no longer give a shite about israel.

To be honest, I don't give a shite about taiwan or hong kong either.

Come to think of it, unless you are friend or family, I don't give a shite about much anymore.

So let russia do what russia is going to do.

Yes, President Biden and his family are corrupt as f**k and they got caught using Ukraine. I am not denying those facts at all, but do yall think that Ukraine is the only nation that Biden and the dems used? Also have yall Putin is one of the richest people on the planet. His net worth is an estimated 200,000,000,000 USD which he achieved by stealing from the Russian people. Yes, Biden and the dems got made millions from Ukraine's national gas company, but that Ukraine's national gas company was buying its gas at inflated rates from Russia. ............

WeeWee
where do you get this nonsense? Putin is certainly not a poor man. He can live like under communism when money is not needed at all. Everyone would be so. :)
Why does he need money? For example, buy a yacht? Yes, if he wants a yacht, the shipyard will build it.
The article says that he has 200 billion and 40. And one of our bloggers, funded from Washington, even found a "Putin's palace" worth 1 or 3 million dollars, which has not been completed for 10 years, on the Black Sea. With such billions, can't you build a house in 10 years? True, later it turned out that the house of some recently got rich businessman. But the media no longer write about this.
Your link contains the phrase ““ [Putin] keeps his money in the West and all of his money in the West is potentially exposed to asset freezes and confiscation, ”Browder said.“ Therefore, he has a significant and very personal interest in finding a way to get rid of the Magnitsky sanctions. "
Look for you a link where Putin says that everyone who finds Putin's money abroad can take it for themselves?
More recently, there has been a covert and powerful investigation into the search for Putin's money all over the planet. And what did they find? It’s the money of your politicians offshore, and the politicians were not very happy about it.

About the fact that Putin's agents have filled the entire Trump administration, I don't even know how to perceive it. As nonsense or as a compliment? Of course, if you want to believe in it, I cannot forbid you to do it.

For those of you praising Putin's "love" for Christianity, remember he is a supporter of the spread of Islam in Russia. Islam is one of Russia's official religions now.

I will probably surprise everyone here. I do not deify Putin, although I live in Russia. There are problems from it, but more benefits. You can't argue with that.
I wrote this for what, to show that I treat him as a person. I can scold for something and praise for something else.
He is a Christian himself and attends church and is not a supporter of the spread of Islam or any other religion. He promotes equality and stifles extremism. Any extremism, Islamic, nationalist, ideological, etc.
In our country, Islam, as well as Christianity, has existed for more than one hundred years.
However, like Judaism and Buddhism. The task of the supreme rulers, starting from the tsar, the CPSU, the President of the Russian Federation, is to ensure freedom of religion and not oppress any of them. Therefore, we build churches and mosques and Buddhist temples in the same way.

2. Ukraine is not in NATO because NATO would not invite Ukraine to join NATO as long the Russian Black Sea Fleet was based on Ukraine's territory. Also Russia threatened war if Ukraine joined NATO. This all occurred prior to 2006 when GWB was POTUS and the GOP had control of Congress.

3. The water comes from a reservoir on Dnieper river in Ukraine. The natural flow and flood plain of the Dnieper river has never close to the border of Crimean territory which means Crimea has no historical claim to the water at all. That makes the water 100% Ukrainian. In order to get to Crimea it has to flow 80km through a canal that is inside Ukrainian territory. Crimea was transferred from Russia to Ukraine in order to make the building the North Crimean Canal easier. The water sharing rights were included in the agreement that transferred Crimea to Ukraine. Both the Crimean parliament and Russia declared that agreement null and void Russia annexed Crimea. So Crimea and Russia gave up any legal claim they might have had. In addition to having no historical right to the water and giving up any legal right to the water, Russia refuses to pay Ukraine for the water. So why should Ukraine supply a resource to an area that has no right or claim to that resource and who refuses to pay for it? The ethnic Russians in Crimea are being hurt by Russia not Ukraine.

Does this mean the Russian Crimea?

Water came to Crimea not from the sources and floodplains of the Dnieper, but through a man-made canal that Russia dug out during the Soviet era.
Crimea itself, the Soviet secretary of the CPSU, the as feudal lord decided to give with the people and everything that is the union republic of Ukraine, which is part of the USSR.
It's like the state of Texas is part of the United States. At the same time, no one asked people.
This was done, among other things, to reduce Ukrainian nationalism.
there are more Russian tables by the number of people living in Crimea.
How Crimea was presented
Concerning the occupation of Crimea. During the entire period of Crimea's transition from Ukraine to Russia through a referendum, at which 98% of the population voted FOR the accession, only two shots were fired.
Literally two shots! Not two wagons of ammunition, not two magazines, but two cartridges! And then finding it on YouTube is almost impossible.
The question is, if there was a seizure, then where were the shootings with the local police, military units?
There are many videos in which a Ukrainian officer calls on his personal mobile phone in Kiev and asks "what should I do? Give some order" and no one ordered him anything.

it's funny about historical water rights

4. There are 7 oblasts that border Russia (not including Crimea), illegal elections were held in less 50% of the area of 2 oblasts (the Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts) back in 2014. Those elections were rigged and did not even attempt to comply with the election laws of Ukraine or international election law at all. If you think that is a justifiable reason for Russia's actions then you are either a bot or a retard.

Regarding the rigged pro-Russian elections ... a month or less ago, a sociological agency conducted a survey of the population,
with the question whether they want friendly relations with Russia or become part of Russia.
The results were 80 to 90% positive. The result was passed on to Zelensky.

Bruh, didn’t you get the memo?

Our constitution is literally racist. I cheer China and Russia’s aggressive stance in the face if such bigotry and hate as displayed by our racist country.
