Purchasing power vs cost of living has plummeted by over 20% under Biden. Literally everyone but the top .01% are noticeably poorer today than they were 4 years ago.

Because they are trying to win an election. Plus, in the terms we have become accustomed to speaking about it, the economy IS great. However, inflation had been so low, so long, that we stopped considering that. Right now, employment is high, wage growth is relatively high. If you had told all the economic statistics to someone from 2015 he’d think everything was great. But throw in the inflation we’ve suffered and suddenly the wage growth doesn’t look so good.

Everything besides inflation is amazing. Job growth, GDP, unemployment, wage growth, trade deficit, etc.

And the US is handling inflation, which is a global trend, better than almost anyone.

They have adopted long ago that if they can control the narrative the truth doesn't matter. In fact, they view the ability to control a false narrative as better since they aren't constrained by reality.
