Nope. They let the Ponzi scheme continue their whole working lives. It's better the Boomers lose their money now than continue to make the younger generations throw theirs away. Someone has to lose and it should be the ones who had their whole lives to prepare for retirement.

That money is spent. Go ask the Greatest Generation for it back. What you want is other people's money being put into the fund now. End SS now and when it runs out, it runs out.

Maybe that money was spent? How is that my fault? Why is it ok to steal from me for 37 years so it can be wasted and then tell me, too bad, there's nothing left?
And in the meantime, the government will continue printing more money for everything else under the sun, including giving billions to people who refuse to work and foreign enemies.

I'm all for the government ending SS, but prorate everyone's retirement from here on out based on their current contributions.
And let's not fool ourselves, even if the govememt stops paying out SS, they still are going to steal from you and use it for something else.
The goverment has been raking in the highest tax proceeds in history lately, yet they still are running a deficit because they can't control their spending. This won't change whether I get my SS or not.

SS recipients are not stealing. The govt is stealing. The recipients are merely getting half of their stolen money back. To compare SS to welfare is beyond retarded. Welfare recipients do not get ANY of their money stolen by govt to pay for a different generation of welfare recipients.

Simple. Conservatives believe in the founding principles, philosophy, freedom, and liberty that this country was founded upon. Liberals don't.
