Whole Foods CEO: "The socialist are taking over"

"I feel like with the way freedom of speech is today, the movement on gun control, a lot of the liberties that I've taken for granted most of my life, I think are under threat," Mackey said.

"My board basically shut me down. It's like a father, they started attacking the child, and I was intimidated enough to shut up," Mackey told Reason. He compared his upcoming experience to the Home Depot billionaire and conservative Bernie Marcus.

What amazes me is how the left is all about idealogy and politics. Everything they do is a political agenda. It’s their religion.
If I was on the board of a large corporation I wouldn’t care about my political agenda. I would care about growing the company and making money. I guess I just don’t think like they do, my personal politics don’t mix with business and family and whatever else. I have no desire to force my beliefs on anyone, however I will enjoy a healthy debate to convince people I’m right. But I’d never use a position of power to silence anyone or force my beliefs on those who may disagree

I loathe the modern FBI but I don't think we're under any obligation to call random guys engaging in pretty indiscriminate (and ineffective) attacks as heroes.
