My wife and I have to stay non-political in the public eye because my wife sells residential real estate. We do a lot of business in our neighborhood. We don't want to alienate potential clients by making our political views public like putting up a yard sign.
Plus, there are some crazy people that will vandalize your house or car if you have political signs/bumper stickers on display.
I have a MAGA hat that I wear on occasion, but I never wear it if I am going to place that will serve me food or drink. I don't want spit or shite being put in something that I will consume.
It's sad that we have to be careful about these things.

Amen on all of this. If I put a sign in my yard here in Colorado, I'd be asking for it.

yard signs are make great targets. I gather them after elections from my neighborhood and bring them to the camp to hang targets on. I have found that this is the best use for them.
