I think Trump will be the successor, after his glorious defeat this fall.

First of all, I pray that Rush will be with us for as long as possible. He's truly one of a kind- and by all accounts the man can talk to anyone, regardless of whether or not they share his political beliefs. That's getting to be a rare gift.

But- what would Rush himself want to happen? I would tend to believe he would like for someone to carry on his life's work and help the show continue. If he believes there should be a successor, then that's how it should be.

good pick. Still wish Jason Lewis would get back behind the microphone.

While I like Stine as a guest host, he isn't near the orator or communicator El Rushbo is. Whoever has to try and replace Rush is gonna feel like Brennan trying to replace Burrow.

And that aint no slight to Brennan.

One thing I've noticed.
When Rush says he going to be out he usually doesn't say who the guest who will be. Except when it is Mark Steyn. That tells me that the ratings for all the other subs are in the tank. Therefore, if he doesn't say anything then folks might tune in to see if it's Mark. If he says it's Mark then people make a point to tune in.

I honestly am not sure Levin outlives Rush.

Why wouldn’t he outlive Rush?

He has some breathing issues. Not sure if asthma or allergies.

ETA Steyn is ok in small doses but not forever. I like Todd Herman but IMHO; I would like to see James Golden in his seat. He has been Bo Snerdley for many years, has his own talk show and knows Rush and his personal views like no other.

Levin has a bevy of health issues. Horrible back, horrible heart, horrible lungs. He coughs up a lung it sounds like every night on his show and has to take multiple deep breaths while making points.

You can hear it in his voice, he gets extremely out of breath rather easily for someone that looks like he’s in relatively good health.

Nothing wrong with dreaming. Just don't feel too bad when it doesn't come true

I worry that the networks won’t allow a new voice to continue to have the reach that Rush has built. Almost like he has been grandfathered in and once he’s gone it might be dismantled

I would like to see it be Bongino

If you think liberals hate Rush, let Bongino have that audience for a while.

Rush has his sources, but he's careful to reveal what he knows.

Bongino puts it all out on the table. He's known the inner working of the Russia hoax since it began. Liberals would HATE for more people to hear what he knows.

It's like trying to replace Joe Burrow.

It'll take two to come close to Rush's energy. Steyn teamed with Bongino would be something I'd tune into every day. Humor, substance and a wrecking ball.

Let's hope and pray that Rush is our 'Joe Burrow'...takes us to an NC...I.e., Deep State Justice and a clean sweep this November.

I am in the "nobody can replace Rush" crowd but Steyn was repeatedly hilarious this AM on Fox and Friends.
