I’m laughing because most of the people posting are so called conservatives, which tells me by their picks they have no knowledge of what happened during their picks administrations. Or they aren’t really conservative. One or the other. Can’t be any other way.

Adams, Jefferson and Monroe. Monroe isnt given much credit but he was a very good president.

Smartest yes...
But a much less than Stellar President.

It really goes to show you that the smartest people don't necessarily make the best leaders.

Good question - in retrospect the only great thing he did was the CCC.

turned the depression into the worldwide depression and delayed recovery for 8 years, until WWII bailed him out.

He was during my lifetime - I remember when he died.

It is so unfortunate that our early Presidents didn't have a crystal ball to see what would offend snowflakes in their safe spaces on protected college campuses 200 years later.
