I think we might be stymied by this idea of "civilians"... oftentimes in these countries that is a very blurry distinction as the narcos have as much if not more control than the purported government itself does, often actually hand in hand with said government. They aren't like us and it is to our detriment to think that they have the same brand of law, order and justice that we do.

So far as dropping the drugs in another country... where do you think the final destination of these drugs is?

I hope your vision of expansive executive power is the same when a Dem gets back in office.

The Defense Department doesn't have the ability to provide evidence, as it is no longer an entity.

I give them credit for that. It would be massive scandal if they tried to hide it.

Maybe we aren't killing anyone.

This could be a giant psyop using AI video to discourage the cartels from trying to ship drugs.

If something is intended to have a deterrent effect, how you gonna accomplish that by keeping it top secret??

I just think zero accountability from the security state and MIC leads to things like Russiagate or Iran Contra. This is different because Pete is open about the attacks, but again, blowing up civilian boats off another continent (that probably weren't even coming here and going to drop off drugs in another country) is pushing all kinds of boundaries and blurring all kinds of lines.

Weird, don't recall your poutrage when Barack the Benevolent dropped a hellfire on a U.S. citizen and his 13 year old kid.

Because whatever democrats undertake will almost certainly be lawless and unjust vs this lawful and just activity.

Why is that so hard to comprehend?

Wow, I hope this is sarcasm. That's my point in all of this. All anyone needs to do to make this "lawful" is label a group terrorists in an executive order. That's what Trump did here.

You believe that those being targeted wouldn't know who is taking them out? The thing is we have the ability to take them out without them ever being able to prove what was happening.

Sometimes you have to use common sense and understand the reason behind the actions being taken.

Regarding abuses by Dems, we already know what they do. Just two examples would ve 1) J6, and 2) the FBI raid on President Trump's home.

(I chose just one of dozens of things Dems have done against Trump in the past decade. I could've also mentioned the 2 impeachment trials, a stolen election, or any number of examples of lawfare including both this year and when Trump wasn't even in office).
