Thought it would be "Jeb!"

Voted for Cruz in primaries.

The writing was on the wall after Super Tuesday

Voted MAGA over HRC.

Agree but I was concerned the voters would pull the trigger on an "established" globalist hack; glad they didn't

Thought Cruz or Rubio. Glad it was neither.

Me too, after the war mongering Bushes and the Kenyan, I didn't have much faith in our ability to elect a Washington outsider. I underestimated Trump, but mostly, I underestimated the American people.

This.

I voted for Cruz in the primary. He was the smartest candidate running.

Glad Trump won. He has been amazing.

Initially thought Jen with name and campaign infrastructure

Thought the next 2 would be Rubio and Cruz.

Honestly didn’t think trump was legitimate until late. Thought this was more of a publicity stunt.

Boy was I wrong

We were told it would be Jeb, but once that orange bastard came down the escalator with Melania......it was over. I got on board early with the illegal immigration message.

You know, this is actually a trend in US history, a series of weak leadership and steps backwards, and then somebody steps up and moves the ball forward.

I was all in on Cruz. My wife was all Trump. We split our votes in the primary and when he won I was all in for Trump. She never let me forget it.

Trump's Rosie O'Donnell comment at the debate was one of the funniest things I've ever watched. I laugh about it today just thinking about the moment.

I voted for Cruz in primary, but became evident that Trump was pulling away with delegates. I remember my Dad questioning why I didn't vote for Trump in that primary...

I thought it would be Cruz but when Trump kneecapped Rubio I thought he had a chance. I really liked Cruz the whole way through but totally underestimated how much he was disliked by others. The only way to beat Trump was to fight him on his terms and no one else could bring it.

I thought Jeb would probably win it. I originally thought President Trump was not going to run, or if he did he would bow out quickly based on past actions.

And it took SO and I a while to get on the train. We actually thought about going 3rd party (since in TX it was pretty assured he would win) while being OK with her folks in Florida voting for him (I will never forget the 2000 election mess).

Then some report came out that Texas was in play, so we abandoned the 3rd party deal and got our coats. (The bathroom server also had a part; I have to be eligible for a clearance at all times to keep my job and if I had done that you would wonder where I went)

FTR it was a lot more than 30 years from Washington to Trump

Would have bet the farm on Rubio winning the nomination back in 2015. Seemed like an easy guy for everyone to get behind.

Was angry the pubs put Jeb in for a Bush v Clinton round II deep state orgasm.

When I started to believe in the uni party.

Thought Trump was either a plant or not very serious. Was never so happy to be so damn wrong in my life. It was only later when Jeb couldn't get above 10% did I realize DJT was going to win the nomination as there was no one else to compete.
