I'm sorry you feel that way. Remember one of the reasons the Sanhedrin was so incensed with Jesus was that instead of hanging around the Leaders of the Temple, he hung around sinners as in prostitutes, tax collectors, and including the woman with the issue of bleeding - the marginalized. That poor woman was ritually unclean, avoided by everyone.....except Jesus.

For example: The Wedding Feast at Cana. In the Gospel of John (Chapter 2) we read that Jesus and His mother attend a wedding. Whereupon he performs his first miracle when the bride and groom run out of wine. Now remember this you Mother Mary deniers - Jesus performed His first miracle at the suggestion (not demand) of his Mother. Mother Mary saw the embarassment (running out of wine was a big taboo) of the young couple, and stepped in to help. Nowhere in that passage do I read that a Jewish Rabbi, or Levi, or Scribe, or even a temple guard was in attendance. Just Jesus and His Mother. But I digress.

Years ago I too forgot an important lesson - you never know what exchange is going on inside a soul as it relates to God working in a soul (To be honest, I still struggle with it). I recall, I selfishly expressed to a priest (a former missionary priest) I didn't think a group of sinners should be allowed into our inner circle, to which I was soundly (and justifiably) rebuked. The priest rebuked me by saying,"Stop, this is the way it must be". I didn't do that anymore.

Please, I urge you to pray for Mike Johnson. Trust me he needs the prayers, and so do we. With that - please say a prayer for me - a wayfaring sinner.

Besides it's Easter. A time to walk with Jesus as He makes His way up to Golgotha.
