I’d prefer an error free administration. But since that seems unlikely, I’ll settle for one that at least owns it’s mistakes.
Unlike the previous one, you know?

Yes, still am. I voted for this. Full support.

Truth is, I like Bondi but think she has been sloppy at times.
The list of demands went way overboard. A good bit of them were legal and necessary. Harvard deserves sanctions for all the anti Semitic crap it allowed. However, the administration was demanding to micromanage areas of the school that had nothing to do with civil rights.

Members of the administration allegedly did so (sources?).
Nonetheless, I agree with you in that whomever put forth that letter overstepped their scope of authority.

Trump can’t help himself. He’s an elite.

Huh? Still has an acceptance rate of 3%. Plenty of students still clamoring to get in.

So fricking unnamed sources in the NYT is the absolute gospel now?
Where is the publicly issued reversal?
all these fricking losers jumping on this like cur dogs rummaging through garbage

the real story - HArvard does not want to give a complete list of foreign donors
Why does Harvard have substantial foreign donors I wonder? probably just out of the goodness of their hearts

Me too. However, race and sex are protected classes. Democrats are advocating removing protected classes. It is so bizarre.

Its posts like this that remind me how much of an out-of-touch, echo chamber this board is

At one time Harvard acceptance rates probably meant much more in terms of applicant quality. But even when you entered the pool, that was changing. Now a mediocre student like David Hogg, who couldn't even gain admittance into public universities out of HS, gets accepted to Harvard the following year over applicants with your undergrad applicant qualifications which is an effing travesty.
Harvard "progress" in this arena is kind of like the surviving Challenger crew members commenting (just before impact) on how far they'd "come" in the minutes since the initial o-ring explosion near the boundary to space, and as they descended. Harvard's come a similarly long way.
