Y'all are some gloomy gusses.

I just came out of the "Americans' Fun has Disappeared" thread in the OT... the inability to lean into levity in this thread is a perfect encapsulation of why "The Fun is Gone".

I am all for fun and such. But that being on the official White House account is dumb and embarrassing.

Why? Why is it dumb and embarrassing?

It was absolutely a big thing at the time, and it was also something NON-political that actually brought both sides together for a moment.

Is it absolutely necessary for everything to be "super cereal" at all times?

My comments are not geared to you, so please don't take offense. But I remember that mess and it was dumb even back then.

I really want to see our government be more serious than this. Just my opinion.

Pot calling the kettle black here...

You know - it's possible to not take everything so seriously and just have a deep breath, relax, and have a sensible chuckle at a little humor sometimes

I'm just different... I like a little levity here and there.

Especially when it's the kind that is beyond politics- not much is apolitical these days, this is one of those rare items.

Those two hit hard. I wouldn’t be surprised if that got folks off the couch to go vote.

Your side championed a retarded pathological liar for “Minister of Truth”.

Yet an administration demonstrating we can laugh and take things a bit less serious and still function is “trying too hard”.

You’re so smooth brained.
