Regardless of the time you lived in or lived through, it doesn't warrant hate. When you're wrong you're wrong. Deflecting by listing other shitty people doesn't take away from who he was. He hated white people, was racist by the definition of a racist, and overall didn't seem like a good dude. I dont care about Bush, Cheney, or any other knucklehead that is brought up in comparison, it doesn't make it right. Just because he was a great boxer doesn't make him immune to the same criticism we all receive. I'm sure there are plenty of black people that grew up in that era who didn't HATE whites. There are also many whites who didn't HATE blacks. IMO, Ali was just a great boxer and not a great man.

This Thread can be summed up quite simply. LSU saint and strong safety are exhibits A and B of why blacks are still failing in America and will continue to do so.
You want us to take the blame for what white sumpremacy has purposely done for black and that ain't gonna happen.
Whites rigged just about every system against us and now people like you expect blacks to succeed in a system that purposely ensures failure.

All of the rationalization in the world won't change that reality until blacks choose to change it for themselves.
Reality is you know nothing of our reality. How can the oppressor tell the oppressed how to be successful?

Yet you're unwittingly arguing for white supremacy.

Ali was a good friend of my first cousin and his wife. They would go out all the time, spend time with each other on trips, and really got along as good friends. My cousin is as white as me, which is pretty blindingly white. People, one on one may just be different, but my family interacted with his like one of the family. Maybe a small case study, but just wanted to add this from a personal level.

The success of the Vietnamese refugee blows up any argument they have.
They came to this country around the same time Jim crow ended and they didn't even speak the fricking language.
Now their children have surpassed the average black household
Man up and stop being a victim.

For every one of me there are probably 500 that are the total opposite. It takes a lot to break the cycle in which black people as a whole are in.
Answer me this question. From a probability of success stand point would you rather be born black or white? Same abilities however different skin color.

Most black people are relatively successful. Making excuses d does nothing for the unsuccessful ones.

No I am not I am saying that white supremacy was successful at promoting white supremacy and disenfranchising blacks. This is a fact.

Or, a kid who is told it isnt your fault, and likely you wont ever succeed no matter what you do because "they" wont let you?
