It's going to happen. I know many will say Texas and maybe so. Nothing short of a massive attack from another nation will hold this union together. China, the Russians and even the terrorist would be fools to start something when we as a national are tearing ourselves apart.

So which State do you have seceding first?

It is Texas.

I disagree. An attack from outside would lead to capitulation by a large portion of this country. If China attacked a good portion of the country would roll over. It may actually help the balkanization of the country.

Might not be a bad thing.

I don't know that any of us will live to see Secession because IMHO it will take more than a generation for the process of subjugated decay to undermine the USA.

And with regard to "The Base", which seeks to "accelerate" this process through the use of violence against random targets with no connection to the Ruling Entities, I say that this is the Devil's work and has no place in any decent setting.

The process of subjugated decay will work over time. It will culminate to its logical end state. However, this end state is at least 80 years from now, and probably more like 150 years.

I posted this in another thread, but it’s getting buried.

“Middle America needs to follow suit. From Louisiana and Texas, north to the Dakotas and west to Idaho, there needs to be a secession effort. You’ve got the two largest rail networks, the Mississippi Delta, large agricultural and energy sectors, and a good interstate and US highway system. It can function just fine as a standalone republic.

I live in Nebraska, and right now, this 30x30 plan is threatening 49 counties in Nebraska and Kansas (roughly 22 million acres). They want to turn it into a National Heritage Area. They try assuring us that they’re not coming for our barbed wire or row crops, but it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. People are pissed up here but you’d never hear about it. The overwhelming majority of us welcome secession.”

I can see parts of Idaho or Montana just ignoring federal mandates.

If there was ever going to be a conflict, that’s how it would start. That’s assuming Washington sends Federal Agents in to stomp on them, and the locals stop them.

I live in Nebraska also and like you said everyone is pissed! I would be absolutely thrilled if Nebraska was the first state to leave

It would definitely speed the process of this slow painful death we are currently experiencing.

I would think the first one would have to be Florida or Texas . If they both leaves together then every rad state will tag along .

Yes, I have said repeatedly on here that now is the time for prominent citizens and politicians to raise awareness of the fact that this is the proper time to explore options and scenarios for a Secession of states who oppose the Federals of the USA and the Federals' vision for the people and states of the USA.

In short, we want out of the process of subjugated decay in which the USA has placed us against our will and against our votes.

We want a new entity that will be politically and legally disconnected from the larger Federal Union currently called "USA". This new entity need not be an entirely separate country. Perhaps some kind of semi-independent "province" will work. The new entity wants to be a close ally of the USA, but, not subject to the USA's laws, federal regulations and legal jurisdiction.

It’s going to be much more than Idaho and Montana. South Dakota isn’t putting up with any bullshite, and Wyoming won’t stand for it either.

The fact of the matter is this: The states that could band together and fend for themselves could cripple the ones that don’t secede from an economic standpoint. If you get Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana in there, you control the portion of the Mississippi River that matters most. Iowa would ultimately be pressured into joining.

Another important aspect is that every Class I railroad has a line that runs into New Orleans. The railroads play by a different set of rules and are only interested in profits. And when I say only interested in profits, that’s not some generic statement. I work for one, and they absolutely do not give a shite about anyone or anything. They’ll never be satisfied until there’s no one left to pay, and even then, I’m sure they’d try to squeeze out some more.

There’s enough agriculture and energy to support a new republic, and hell, even the provinces in Canada could join since they’re fed up with Trudeau—not to mention they have a lot to offer economically.

Lincoln all but quashed peaceful secession.

The only state that has a chance to initiate the movement is Texas due to energy industry and their own power grid.

States won't secede

Our problems are cultural and not regional

The only states that are really dark red aren't really capable of seceding anyway. WTF would South Dakota do as their own nation? People would just laugh if they tried to secede.
