I pointed this out to my Fiance last night
He said that we were losing 1k americans a day and by the end of the year, 200k more are going to be dead.
So between the end of October to the 1st of January, we are going to lose 200k people at a rate of 1k per day...

Our 7-day average (which is made-up, hyperventilating bullshite) is 748 deaths per day.
We would need to average 2,900 deaths per day (higher than the peak one day death total which occurred months ago) to get to 200,000 deaths by the end of the year.
In other words, we would have to average more Covid deaths per day than any single day of recorded Covid deaths in the entire course of the pandemic.
There’s not a model out there that predicts this (I would venture). It’s like Obama’s “Obamacare will save you $2500” calculation.
