We have serious problems and following their footsteps. I really don't understand how it has not happened yet. There has been so much money pumped out and we are seeing high gas prices with a surplus. Now add in this pipeline stuff people will start hoarding gas. Could this really happen to us?

My Venezuelan neighbor, who came to the US at age 16 and is now 48 and a very successful home builder, says we are well on our way.

He’s despondent. He says he is going to finish out his current builds on his remaining properties and look for a safe country to protect his hard earned money. He says he never imagined needing to leave America.

I don't think ppl see it coming and it's too late. Economists used to cry about Trumps policies and how we were going to crash hard. Look now. There used to be heated threads on here about the deficit, now tell me how much we've given away the last year. Unemployment isn't even real Unemployment. This is only a few variables. How can we bitch about student loans then shell out forgivable PPP loans?

Yes, you are radically ignorant, so this is not a surprise.

To think it can never happen is ignorance. Next time stay away from fallacies.

The Fallacy is that a 34 year old with a "economic masters" believes that the United States and its institutions are capable of becoming a failed state like Venezuela. That is laughable.

Start watching all of the Mad Max movies.

Pay extra close attention to the last 30-32 minutes of Road Warrior.
