When will the Democrats have a reckoning within their own party?

Clearly, the radicalized and extreme "fringe" is now the base and runs the Democrat party. These are the living wage, free healthcare for all, open borders, the socialists, communists, anthem and flag haters, SJW types. These people are the face of the Democrat party.
Where are the "traditional" democrats? I would harken back to JFK, but he'd be considered an uber conservative Republican by the left's standards now. But hell, even the 1992/1996 Bill Clinton Democrats. The ones that recognized the harm of illegal immigration, and had a basic understanding of economics and how you couldn't tax everyone that earns an income 75% of their salaries. WHere are they?
Do they exist anymore?
Have they jumped ship and now vote 3rd party, Republican, or don't vote at all?
Will the common sense Democrats ever take back control of that circus?
There needs to be 2 sides to every coin. Hell I wish we had more than just 2 parties to choose from , because the Republicans have some of the same issues, but they appear to be working themselves out. Why must extremism of the left be the new norm for the Democrats?

It's coming down the track, the only reason Pelosi keeps a stranglehold on Dim's in the House is because the Black Caucus keeps her there. She's despised by the Majority of Dim's. Just,look at her antics during rounds of applause, looking around to see who stood and who didn't.

Where are those “traditional democats “ from the past. Answer : mostly independents and some republicans now. Democrat party has become to radical/liberal for them.
