When Will Fear Stop Driving GOP Ads?

I remember noticing it a whole lot during the W presidency with ads that showed wolves coming for your children abd the dems were going to let the wolves win.
This year almost every single political ad I have seen is to drive fear into the hearts of GOP voters and independent voters. Lots of stuff about socialism and open borders. None of which are true.
I've learned in my lifetime not to trust people who try to make me afraid and insult my intelligence at the same time
