Immigration itself is not a problem.
Immigrants refusing to assimilate is the problem.
You can't have a society made up of dozens of diverse cultures when the people in any significant numbers refuse to assimilate into the mainstream culture of the society.
Especially when:
1. Some of those cultures are actually hostile toward mainstream culture.
And/or
2. You make it verboten for anyone to make jokes about or laugh at other cultures. That situation is hard enough to survive anyway, but when you basically make it all but illegal to laugh about, your chances of surviving it circle the drain.
It's a recipe for...well, exactly what we currently have in Europe and the US.
