Im not a country music fan these days. Im rather old school.
A local northshore singer is trying to make it in country music right now. He has a song that was nominated for some award recently.
It’s not bad.

I would like to take this thread to introduce everyone to an artist named Chasen Wayne. One of my relatives plays in his lineup, and they’re proof that young adults are still grinding and making good country tunes. Look at the views on that first tune… ain’t no made for pop tv bullshite there…or as Sturgill once called it: botox cake and cockpony show.
Chasen is what I consider “country”, and there a lot of young guys like him out there trying to make a go at it. Damn good songwriter, and does a mean rendition of Terry Allen’s “Amarillo Highway” that is on his Spotify and a proper cover.
