I've heard those Brits talk and I'm pretty sure we're speaking 2 similar but different languages at this point.

Probably later this week, since Trump's team obviously reads this board.

And more specifically, Trumpian American, our national dialect. We have the best national dialect, don’t we folks?

If primitive gutter slang English in former colonies of the global south gets its own distinct noun (Pidgin), then I don’t see why American can’t hold the same claim
Side note, go to the BBC (the news one) website and click on their filter to read articles in Pidgin. It’s highly entertaining

Are you taking a piss, mate?

I wouldn't be surprised if that's something that comes up later.

Hip hop has introduced so much slang into the English language in America that we almost have our own language now.

What I've never understood is how British men are allowed to call people cvnts, but we can't. It's weird.

Trump himself reads this board.

I'm wondering why this did not happen around Jan. 22 via EO.

I wouldn’t worry my little head about it. At the rate their going in the UK, they won’t be speaking English anymore anyway.

Really, how do you know? I’m genuinely curious.

English is not the official language of the USA. about 20-30 years ago a move to make it the official language failed in congress. We have no official language.
