A fetus is still a human.

What about in cases where the rape may not be reported for days/weeks/months because of the circumstances surrounding the abuse?

Tough shite, huh?

The coward knows this but refuses to acknowledge it. It's quite amusing how stupid some people truly are.

We're not talking about your straw man case, we're talking about a case where you're forgoing bodily autonomy to keep someone else alive at the demand of the state. Can they legally do that, in your mind?
Yes. I can't legally beat you to death with my fists because your life supersedes that. The government is controlling my body!

Do you have to report rape to take a morning after pill?

Unless they don't want to bring a fetus to term

i mean a "fetus" (aka a parasite) is a completely different biological being than the mother, so, by basic genetics, it can't be "her body"

you can call it a parasite, but you can't call it her body b/c it's a completely different creature, genetically

*ETA: I'm largely pro choice (a lefist per this board) and the Alabama law is stupid and nothing more than a path to challenge Roe

What ever you start ridiculous threads like this, I'm convinced that it's an expression of your own self loathing not to mention that it makes me really sad that down votes don't count for something on this board.

Answer the question. Can the state force you to provide a kidney to transplant to an individual who is dying, provided you'll both live?
No.

That's not what we're talking about, though. It's also a unique situation where the natural method of procreating requires the mother's body to host the child during its development. The mother doesn't have to necessarily do anything for the child in most cases. We're not telling a mother to do anything, but telling her not to do something that would directly cause the death of another human being.

They're not relevant. We're talking about the situation where the woman is already pregnant, not what things she might have done in the past to not be pregnant.

A woman doesn't give up her rights to bodily autonomy through demands of the state just because she's pregnant.

It's really very simple.
