There's border security funding in the CR bill that passed the Senate with every Dem vote which specifically prevents even 1 penny of that money from being used to build the wall.

but facts and the truth are very hard for me.

True reasoning is a lost art for the liberals, has been for some time now and it probably ain't returning anytime soon.
Trying to reason with them is like trying to give medicine to someone who is already dead.

The Dems want open borders. They can't say it because the vast majority of Americans don't want it. Open borders means:

a. Dem votes
b. Movement toward global govt.
c. Movement away from capitalism and toward socialism.

I guess I missed the special vote on if the “American people” wanted a protected border

No, you just missed political science 101

The wall has less support than DACA, and now the democrats run the house

Trump had his chance, and missed his window

It's not rocket science

Care to go on record of your reasoning for not wanting border security?

I imagine your position is likely based on the facts in the post above

I'll answer you when you quit substituting "border security" for "wall"

It’s illogical to think that a wall wouldn’t aid and be a deterrent for illegal immigration

This is all about trump not wanting to look weak in front of Ann Coulter. She lit his arse up last week when he was getting ready to sign the last bill.
You're not wrong here. Thank God for her and Mark Levin who will call a spade a spade. Ann Coulter in particular is largely responsible for getting Trump elected. Her style of conservatism is what Trump was feeding off of during his campaign.

It would aid a little bit, maybe

Not nearly as much as treating the disease instead of the symptom

You go hard on enforcement of existing laws against employing illegals, and they have no incentive to come here

Their grandstanding is ridiculously pathetic and shows their true colors if that is the true reasoning.

Who grandstands more than Trump?

The wall is not about border security. It’s about political theatre for Trump.

How many times did the GOP block Obama for political reasons alone. The GOP is the king of party over country.

The party that came out and said they will resist everything trump and made it a rallying cry is trying to lecture about “party over country”. Gtfo
