Yeah...that's not happening. Rates are looking to be the same for both.

Most of what I’m seeing is the deaths are still lingering delta variant

You’re assuming deaths being reported today are from the omicron wave. Deaths being reported today could be from last week. Or from last August.
Ding! Ding!
I'd be willing to bet most deaths are still Delta related.
Omicron has been ripping through my area and I can assure you...It's no Delta.

Odd bc my sister works for a cardiologist and word is that the booster is giving them more business than Covid ever did. She calls it the kill shot
That was something I wanted to ask him. Is he seeing a drastic increase in young patients

What here is confusing to you? How much more specific do you want?
By specific stories of deaths, I mean specific stories of deaths. What is confusing to you? Every other wave, we were bombarded with stories of specific named people dying, oh this healthy 41 y/o, oh this other healthy 35 y/o, etc etc. You can Google omicron deaths and there is no stories like that, the quickest thing you'll find is the story of the first guy and that's it.
Even cdc is saying these deaths are "mostly" not from omicron but just delayed statistics.

So yea, I need more specifics.

Deaths lag cases by 10 days. Deaths reporting is behind deaths by between 7 to 180 days.
Georgia reports cases by report date and date of symptom onset and deaths by report date and date of death. The Delta 7-day case average began to climb on June 23 by date of symptom onset. Deaths by date of death began to climb on July 15 and by report date on August 3. It was 6 weeks after the surge began that reported deaths began to climb and another week or so before the exponential rise was apparent. The Omicron surge began in Georgia with an increase in the 7-day average on December 13. By a similar pattern, reported deaths would be set to start rising in the next few days and start to be apparent around the end of January. The 7-day reported deaths actually spiked pretty dramatically today going from 30 yesterday to 43, the highest it’s been since November 5 on the downside of the Delta surge. I’m not sure when Omicron took hold in LA vs. GA, but the point is that we are only on the edge of having any real insight into the death toll. There could be some backlog in reporting to explain what happened in GA, though date of death data is showing an increase in the last week of December as well.

I dont get your gif. Almost no one is dying compared to previous waves, even if you believe the avg is actual omicron deaths, I have never been fearful of covid. So what goalposts am I moving?

You could just speak gibberish and you would have as productive a conversation with him.

Guy I work with started with cases of arrhythmia a couple weeks after his second shot. He’s had a few times of heart rates in the 180s, once that lasted a couple days. They got on something and it been a few months since he became Speedracer. He doesn’t like that joke much
Good luck
Good luck

Damn, breh.
Get yourself a new cardiologist that isn't a dumbass communist brainwashed by XiNN.
Keep us posted. But seriously, find a new heart doctor. That guy is completely ignoring actual facts and science like a highly trained propagandist.

The "pattern" is not similar for Omicron.

I got an appointment on Monday with a private practice not controlled by a hospital. I just want a constructive, honest conversation. I want someone help me weigh my risks. Is that too much to ask?
Or should I just listen to the state sponsored drones pushing vaccines regardless of a person’s age, comorbitities, overall health, actual effectiveness of the booster (to my knowledge hasn’t been upgraded for delta or omicron).

I was looking at numbers in other countries and this doesn’t seem to be the case. The vaccinated numbers are quite high. I will probably have to spend the weekend gathering data so I’m better prepared to have a meaningful discussion.
