Don't have to be Stonewall Jackson to know that wasn't a fertilizer bomb.

Yep. And the government had explosive charges set up inside the World Trade Center on 9/11 too.

I live in OKC and went to the memorial 1 day. They have all of the evidence in there including the car he was driving when he was caught.
If it was a setup they went all out

Live in Oklahoma. Was in High School here when it happened. Remember clearly, was sick and home from school that day, and actually felt the ground tremor in my room from the blast, over 30 miles away. Visit the memorial every chance I get and it still breaks me down every single time.

McVeigh and Nichols were POS. Period. If ever there were men to deserve to die horrible prison deaths, it couldn't happen to more fitting candidates. They weren't part of some big conspiracy. They we're fricking horrible and evil human beings. This is personal to me, so I'll stop now.

I'm no explosives expert, but I would think 7000 pounds of ammonium nitrate, nitromethane, diesel, and 350 pounds of another explosive arranged in a makeshift shape charge would wreck quite a bit of shite.

If you can look at those little chairs and not break down, there is something wrong with you.

Google search Brigadier General Benton K. Partin. He wrote quite a bit about why the fertilizer bomb could not have brought the building down, or even compromised the structure. He was a military explosives expert.

Edit - 6 down votes. I guess that you would rather just think "it was a big fricking bomb" than see what a demolition and explosives expert that actually examined the Murrah building after the explosion has to say about things like compressive forces and distances and and the energy it takes to shatter a reinforced support column and energy available from the explosives in the truck. Don't eat the red pill, don't smell the red pill, don't even look at the red pill.

I don't understand the poliboard. We have a 1,200 page thread where everything under the sun is in play, but this one is off the rails.

But not a single FBI agent or their kids who also usually were attending the daycare in the building.

For some strange coincidental reason ALL the FBI agents AND the office staff were outta the building all that day.

(My former boss and his best childhood friend were both headed to the nearby courthouse from different directions to file mortgage papers for their respective employers at the time the bomb went off. The friend was close enough his car windows were blown out and suffered minor cuts from the glass.)

I was living in Tulsa and had several conversations the following weeks with agents investigating but having to stay in Tulsa due to the sheer number of people occupying ALL the hotel rooms in and around OKC (media, ATF, FBI, etc.). McVeigh stayed a few nights in a couple of tax protestor/religious cult communes outside Tulsa, one west and one NE. He also frequented a gentlemen's club on 21st street my buddies frequented at the same time.

And how about the security footage? They were all "malfunctioning" before the blast so there is no video leading up to the explosion, only after.

As for the destruction itself, yeah it is hard to believe a fertilizer bomb could have done this:

But look at the damage form the West, TX fertilizer plant explosion a few years ago:

video of fertilizer plant explosion

The biggest "conspiracy" related stuff to OKC for me is the lack of surveillance footage prior to the explosion and the fact that McVeigh was recruited, trained, and encouraged to carry out the act by government agents.

It was a real bomb, McVeigh was involved, but that is not the entire story.
