Things in Montgomery county seem to be getting back to normal mostly.

Around 20-30% of the people in stores, including the grocery store are not even wearing masks. Other men shake my hand with no qualms, restaurants, bars, and salons are open and packed.

Cases.. there are some cases

I went into the wallymarts for a flash drive I needed for fire one training. No mask required but lots of folks wearing them. We have restaurants you can dine in. I wear the mask at doctors if required. In south Georgia.

I only know of 1 person who had it, and I only ever spoke to him once. He was in his mid 80s, diabetic and a life long smoker. He died.

Masks still required in stores. Restaurants by take out only. Still see people walking/jogging with no one within 100 yards. See people driving with masks on. No visitors in hospital where I work.

Have not had covid death in weeks. Had one in last several months.

Have expressed my frustrations with coworkers and I am in a minority of 2 in my department. Fear porn still has a hold of those here.

ETA: waiting for someone to tell me I need a filter on my snorkel.

I think here in Auburn, most are resigned to the fact that diabetics, fattys, and otherwise sick people who have been managing their ailments will die, just as long as it can’t touch healthy people.

We have recently had two lovely human beings with down syndrome die that has rocked our world. It’s like they know this thing has threatened their longevity and that it’s a flip of the coin now in if they live.

I feel like a year from now we would have lost a good piece of humanity that helped us love a little better.

But that’s nothing to cry about. The whole country, the whole world has lost love for each other it’s only going to get worse.

People are dying in waves. Look, right there, 3 people just keeled over and croaked!

They weren’t wearing masks so served them right!

The small enclave of Faithful Followers of the Almighty Fauci have barricaded ourselves in the George R Brown convention center where we are guarding our hoard of ventilators and Starbucks ice coffees.

Corona Zombies roam the Galleria area coughing up gouts of Rona spores and groaning about wanting more Obama Care.

It’s a nightmare man!

Really, in Houston people are living their lives. frick this virus, open the goddamned country.

People are licking grocery cart handles, sharing pre-chewed gum, and close talking.

I do not generally wear a mask but will oblige if someone is not comfortable. My friend living in NC sent me some Trump tubes. Those are cool.

People around here realized not long after this shite broke that the most they had to worry about was the sniffles. They wear the masks where mandated because our idiot politicians say so.

I watched our interim CEO walk down the hall way carrying her mask. Put it on as she walked through the exit and got into her Mercedes SUV and drove away with it all. She started her career as a nurse and now she is the senior leader of our hospital. Absurdity abounds. She spends more on her shoes than we do on food for a month.

Actually most restaurants are open, but have limited indoor seating.

Outdoor seating is pretty regular.

Outdoor places seem pretty full of not full.

Work has returned to normal.

All in all, just wearing a mask indoors in public. Outside no.

People are pretty chill.

- Bodies piled up in the streets.
- Last gasp statements of the dead of “please don’t re-elect Trump”
- poop swastikas everywhere
- 2 weeks behind Italy.

New cases continue

Deaths have seemingly halted

Full on Governor Abbott restrictions

Virus visited the wife and me. Her case mild. My course was serious, 7 day hospital stay - 2 in ICU.

Will be sending bills to Chairman XI and the CCP. Not paying for their conduct

Am somewhat concerned about residual stuff...remain on oxygen 24/7

I’m in Rosemary Beach right now and the virus does not exist. It’s incredible. No masks, just normal life.
