What’s going on with Trump in these photos?

Not trying to flame, just genuinely curious. Is he known for having balance issues? I’ve never heard anything about this.
Saw these pictures as well on Twitter/X in the discussion about the foot pads. Not 100% sure of their authenticity but it seems valid:

Never seen them look like that but my best guess is they are controls for a teleprompter
