Asking for a friend. Any chance she gets this done in the next 6-12 months?

Honestly, it is hard to accurately know.

The powers that be have not been forthcoming with what is really going on....leaving people like us to speculate

Can Trump appoint her successor while she’s still “alive?”

I wouldn’t have given her much of a chance to beat pancreatic cancer in 2009, but she did.

I’d love to see her SCOTUS spot be filled by Trump & pals, but I won’t celebrate terminal cancer no matter who has it.

Her prognosis? 50 years from now, right after a nuclear holocaust has wiped the human race off the face of the planet, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Keith Richards will be sitting outside of the only N-in-out burger joint which is still standing. They will be holding hands and discussing their plans to repopulate Planet Earth.

That's the tough old bird's prognosis.

She can quit. What, aside from hubris, is keeping her in the SCOTUS in her condition?

Well, the lady on the radio news report said that she is maintaining an active schedule.

I believe rbg wanted to retire years ago.. but she was probably pressured into staying.

She has had a storied life and career. Her name will forever be remembered. Makes no sense for someone of her caliber to want to willingly stay on the bench until the day she literally dies. I mean...surely the woman has a life outside of the scotus. A life that she can spend the remaining years of her life fully enjoying, without the scotus drama.

Pancreatic cancer has killed everyone I have known that has had it, and pretty quickly at that.

From what I understand, her prognosis is Threat Level Midnight, which is pretty bad.

Get ready for the greatest meltdown in history! Trump replacing RBG will make Chernobyl look like child's play.

Reading about Alex Trebek’s cancer has me wondering if Stage 4 pancreatic cancer is even survivable for a cancer that has a less than 10% 5 year survival rate.
