Whatever happened to Gowdy's deadline?

It's because of "Muh Cages." Fox has covered it some and it came out yesterday that DoJ is cooperating. They've set up SCIF's for the Gang of Eight to read the documents.
I don't know all the details, though, and whether or not they are getting everything they asked for.

If he’s confident America needs to know, he should keep pushing. At least he’s trying. I think he’s got the ball rolling pretty good.
I also have a weird feeling he wants to be high up on DOJ and he’s trying to be cool with everyone right now, while still going after truth. Just a feeling.

That's not cooperating. Congress has SCIFs. Congress wants the unredacted documents delivered - not special SCIFs set up for Congress to travel to DOJ or wherever.
We just have gutless cowards in Congress.
We pay hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars each year to make sure congressional staffs are packed with people having TS/SCI clearances and DOJ is trying to act as though all of them don't exist.
I'm guessing Paul Ryan is behind the scenes, actively slowing everything down. A real Speaker would be sending strong messages immediately and following up with strong actions. None of that has happened.
