It's not a conundrum in the least.
If they somehow manage to pull this crime off ... then it is the end of this country as we know it.
No duly elected POTUS will ever be safe again ... especially those with Conservative agendas.
Matter of fact, the only saving grace right now might end-up being in the SCOTUS. The way this is going right now, and this is rarely mentioned, but the only saving grace might be if some of these Mueller tactics end-up being challenged in the courts and it ends up with the SCOTUS.

there's absolutely nothing the deep state can do unless they get 2/3 of Senate. If they managed to push Trump out, there will be bloodshed. There are plenty of conservative "extremists" who will be there to defend him. Militias will descend on DC.
